New York Airports Community Roundtable Formation

The PANYNJ has proposed the use of a single roundtable with two airport committees, one to represent LGA and one for JFK.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 6:30p at York College.

FAiR Coalition Letter to FAA Regarding Community Involvement

Some news from our counterparts in Chicago.  The FAiR Coalition is making a request to be heard as Congress reevaluates the FAA NextGen re-authorization that is set to expire at the end of 2015.

If NextGen comes to our airports (and in some regards, it’s already here), you can expect planes spaced 30 seconds apart in tight configurations on all runways one after the other.  More planes, more noise and more pollution into the most compact space technology can handle.
